Celebrating Pal’s 26th Birthday

August 9 is Pal's 26th Birthday.

August has become a lively time of year, with internship students joining us and bringing extra energy to our daily activities.

Pal came into the room from the passageway in the ceiling.

She immediately picked up the watermelon and lifted it up, but...

The fruit inside spilled out through a hole cut in the bottom of the watermelon.

She quickly moved the entire plate while giving a food grunt—"ah, ah."

Carefully holding the plate close, she picked up pieces of watermelon and enjoyed them one by one.

She finished every last piece.

It was a fun birthday celebration filled with smiles from Pal and all the lab members.

We hope the watermelon helped her cool off a little in the summer heat.
