Meet the Chimpanzees: Gon

Gon (male, estimated to have been born in 1966)

Gon is a very gentle and kind chimpanzee. As he has gotten older, he spends more time sleeping, but he still loves to play.

He laughs loudly and enjoys games like chasing and wrestling. When he was called for experiments, he would often happily call out and head off right away, and sometimes he did not want to come back. This year he is around 60 years old, so he is quite elderly. He has had a few health problems, and now he is taking life easy in a quiet retirement.

He still has a very good appetite and especially loves leafy vegetables.
