Ai’s Memorial Blog Is Now Open

One month has passed since the chimpanzee Ai left us. In response to the many heartfelt messages we have received, we have created this memorial website in her honor. On this site, you can look back on her life and journey, view photographs, learn about her contributions to research, and read messages from those who cared for her.

We hope this website will offer an opportunity to reflect on the time shared with Ai and to once again feel the significance of her presence. We invite you to spend a quiet and warm moment in remembrance of Ai.
